For many years now there has been a preference amongst contractor in favor of limited companies and away from PAYE. The introduction of a restrictive new legislation by the Government, Europe and yet more to come such as The Working Time Directive, many agreed it is time to look at alternative options to PAYE and employment, there are also tax opportunities which have encouraged the use of limited companies by contractors. The introduction of IR35 has tried to reduce many of the tax advantages but by operating through a Your own Limited Company or our managed company option you can still retain many benefits that contracting has to offer.

With this option you would become an employee of what is known as an "Umbrella company" The company would take on the responsibility for the legal and administration requirements. This would also include processing your payroll and making payment into your personal bank account.

Should you not be able to work outside of IR35 due to the nature of your contract this is an ideal way to maximize your income by claiming your business expenses while at the same time not having the burden of managing all the other aspects of running your own business.

Once you decide to run through your own limited company there are several things we will need to do for you so you are able to legally start using your limited company.
